What you'll do

  • Support the administration of grants throughout the grantmaking cycle, including documentation, tracking, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Handle payment requests and expense reimbursements in line with NEF policies and procedures and liaise with NEF on financial disbursements.
  • Support the preparation and administration of agreements, coordinate tender and procurement processes, and assist with reports to funding partners.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for meetings, workshops, events, and other programme activities; prepare meeting materials, agendas and minutes.
  • Manage the Alliance's general inbox and support drafting and planning newsletters, website news, social media content and other communications materials.

What they require

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in project coordination, programme support, administration and/or financial coordination, communications, or a related role.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to draft clear and engaging communications for different audiences.
  • Candidates must be based in the EU or the UK and have the right to travel for work without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a part‑time structure.
  • Proficiency with PC and MS Office applications.

Benefits

  • Contract type: Six-month period, with the possibility of extension.
  • Days: 3 days per week.
  • Fee: €180 gross per day (any applicable VAT must be calculated within this amount).
  • Location: Fully remote working, with occasional travel for meetings and events in Europe (approximately 2-4 trips).
  • Candidates based in Belgium, France, or Germany will be offered a local employment contract; candidates elsewhere engaged as freelancers.
