What you'll do

  • Provide the overall vision, strategy, and leadership for the business group and effectively communicates to the organization, as appropriate.
  • Set goals and objectives for the group, including orders, sales, growth, operating performance, budget, and others in support of the strategy.
  • Develop and communicate effective business plans and ROI analysis to support strategy and growth objectives.
  • Lead the development of market, product, and technology strategy consistent with the corporate strategic plan.
  • Work closely with customers, sales, marketing, and internal engineering resources to ensure strategy and implementation plans.
  • Maintain understanding of customer new product and program development needs and disseminate information to appropriate personnel.
  • Lead a team of Program Managers to develop and implement business plans, schedules, and budgets to meet site goals and objectives.
  • Participate in company planning sessions to develop short and long-term strategies, including technology and product road-maps.
  • Monitor and provide direction and leadership for assigned staff; recommend and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Define program tasking/milestones and monitor adherence to program budgets, plans, and schedules.
  • Plan and allocate human and equipment resources to complete assigned objectives within schedule and budget commitments.
  • Be responsive to customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
  • Institute an atmosphere of continuous product improvement for all company personnel.
  • Maintain communications and cooperation with other company functions and business groups to support company goals and objectives.
  • Comply with and actively support Company policies and procedures such as equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, safety, ISO 9000, and ethical business practices.
  • Other related duties as assigned by manager.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in an Aerospace & Defense; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with program execution, EACs, EVMS as applicable.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of the organization, including customers.
  • Work collaboratively within a matrixed organization to ensure proper resourcing at all program phases.
  • Ability to implement recommendations and see projects through to completion.
  • Make recommendations and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Strong leadership characteristics and demonstrated talent development skills.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of manufacturing processes & systems to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry standards, certifications, and requirements.
  • Strong business acumen and comfort in enabling, participating in, and influencing business decisions.
  • Experience with successful implementation of organizational change.
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC; access to certain products restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
