What you'll do

  • Move between projects at different stages, owning execution on some and supporting the team on others.
  • Own the execution of assigned operational projects end to end, from kickoff through rollout and adoption.
  • Overhaul and rewrite SOPs and operational documents so they're clear, current, and actually followed.
  • Utilizes AI to automate health checks on documentation and automate deliverables.
  • Help scope product and internal tooling improvements, translating operational pain points into clear requirements for the teams who build.
  • Utilizes AI to help come up with solutions that translate to better workflows and operations for our onsite teams.
  • Own change management for every rollout.
  • Identify who's affected, train them on what's changing, and verify adoption after launch.
  • Flag problems early.
  • Act as a bridge between on-the-ground realities and program-level strategy, surfacing what's working and what isn't.
  • Define what success looks like before a project starts, and set clear measurement criteria against it.
  • Track your outcomes and deliver retros to inform the next project.
  • Use operational data to prioritize, make the case for changes, and show impact.

What they require

  • This is a remote position open to candidates based in and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Occasional travel to Kasa Portfolio Properties will be necessary for implementing solutions, testing changes, and testing onsite.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, or hospitality.
  • Comfort managing multiple projects at once across different stages and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Generalist at Heart: You love trying new things and learning on the fly, and you're comfortable being handed an unfamiliar problem and figuring it out.
  • Change-Ready: You've rolled out a new process or tool and gotten people to adopt it, not just launched it.
  • Data-Forward: Comfortable pulling, reading, and acting on operational data, and honest about measuring your own results.
  • Communicates in Writing: You write clear, frequent updates so stakeholders always know status, direction, and history, even when the update is "no update yet."
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with tools like Google Suite, Notion, Claude, and Slack.
  • Travel-Ready: Willingness and ability to travel to Kasa properties as needed.
  • Preferred: 1+ years in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Preferred: Exposure to short-term rental operations, housekeeping, or maintenance.
  • Preferred: Experience scoping or supporting product/tooling work with technical teams.
  • Preferred: Comfort building and maintaining trackers, dashboards, or lightweight reporting.
