What you'll do

  • Translate the Carrier Experience roadmap and product strategy into a clear, prioritized, and consistently groomed backlog.
  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases that engineering can build against with minimal back and forth.
  • Own day-to-day backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization in close partnership with the engineering team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for engineering during each sprint, answering questions and resolving ambiguity quickly to keep delivery on track.
  • Review and validate completed work against acceptance criteria before it ships, partnering with QA on test scenarios.
  • Monitor Carrier TMS usage and performance metrics, flagging risks, bugs, and opportunities to the Product Manager and leadership.
  • Coordinate release scope and clearly communicate what is shipping and why to the broader team.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of features, workflows, and decisions for the Carrier Experience team.
  • Get up to speed on the Carrier TMS product, existing features, workflows, and its place in the Carrier Experience and auto transportation landscape.
  • Establish a working rhythm with the Tashkent engineering team for standups, grooming, and planning.
  • Become the go-to person for engineering questions during active sprints.
  • Fully own day-to-day execution of the Carrier Experience backlog, keeping sprints predictable and on track.
  • Identify recurring gaps in requirements or workflows and propose process improvements.
  • Build working knowledge of Carrier TMS metrics and use them to inform prioritization.
  • Act as a trusted execution partner to the Carrier Experience Product Manager and leadership, running backlog and delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Maintain a healthy, well-groomed backlog that supports near-term sprints and longer-term roadmap planning.
  • Help scale Agile best practices across the Tashkent engineering team.

What they require

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business/Systems Analyst, or Associate Product Manager, ideally within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Based in Tashkent or elsewhere in Central Asia, with the flexibility to overlap with US working hours for standups, planning, and leadership syncs.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with distributed engineering and product teams across the US and Central Asia.
  • Detail-oriented, with a track record of turning ambiguous problems into clear, buildable requirements.
  • Comfortable working directly with engineers day to day, unblocking questions and keeping sprints moving.
  • Preferred: Background in transportation/logistics, B2B, or Marketplace products.
