What you'll do

  • Own go-to-market strategy and positioning for EDR/Threat Protection and other assigned product lines.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive research and maintain subject-matter-expert-level understanding of competitors in EDR/XDR, endpoint security, and related categories.
  • Translate technical capabilities into differentiated customer-facing messaging and value propositions in partnership with product management and engineering.
  • Maintain working knowledge of SonicWall SonicSentry (MSS) to support cross-sell messaging and alignment.
  • Plan and lead end-to-end product launches coordinating product, engineering, sales, and support stakeholders.
  • Build sales and channel enablement assets: pitch decks, battlecards, objection handlers, competitive comparisons, and training materials.
  • Produce thought-leadership and demand-generation content: blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, videos, and web content.
  • Own marketing strategy and success metrics for the Technology Alliance Partner Program and support joint go-to-market execution with partners.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with alliance partners to support co-marketing and co-selling motions.
  • Develop customer and partner insights through market research, segmentation, persona development, and customer interviews.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, compliance requirements, and emerging threats; recommend marketing activity.
  • Define, track, and report success metrics for launches, campaigns, and partner programs; continuously test and refine messaging and materials based on results and field feedback.

What they require

  • 6-8 years of product marketing experience, with meaningful time at a B2B security or technical software company.
  • Demonstrated ownership of go-to-market strategy and execution for at least one product line or service offering, from launch through lifecycle.
  • Experience with EDR/endpoint security, threat protection, or network security strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the security market including EDR/XDR, endpoint threat protection, and firewalls; working familiarity with managed security services (MSS) a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts into business-oriented value propositions for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to independently build sales enablement content — pitch decks, battlecards, training — that drives measurable sales results.
  • Strong analytical and business skills; comfortable using data to prioritize initiatives and measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel to visit customers, prospects, and partners as an essential part of the role.
  • Preferred: Experience building or running technology alliance or channel partner marketing programs.
  • Preferred: Prior professional experience in product management or another strategic technical role.
  • Preferred: MBA or other advanced business degree.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field required.
