What you'll do

  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for PVcase Prospect.
  • Define and evolve Prospect's value proposition, messaging, and differentiation.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for US developer needs and customer insights.
  • Monitor market trends, developer workflows, and emerging opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
  • Define target customer segments, buyer personas, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers to influence roadmap prioritization and product strategy.
  • Develop competitive intelligence, battlecards, and displacement initiatives to improve win rates.
  • Lead customer and prospect research programs to understand buying decisions and market dynamics.
  • Lead launch planning, adoption initiatives, and customer growth strategies.
  • Help position Prospect as a strategic entry point into the broader PVcase platform and future migration opportunities.
  • Own positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and adoption initiatives for PVcase Ground Mount, Roof Mount, and Yield.
  • Develop a deep understanding of utility-scale solar engineering workflows, customer needs, and technical pain points.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to bring customer, market, engineering, and competitive insights into roadmap decisions.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value and differentiated product narratives.
  • Lead technical go-to-market planning for new products, features, and workflows.
  • Own demo strategy and help create credible, real-world solar engineering use cases.
  • Support Sales and Solutions teams on strategic opportunities requiring deeper product or industry expertise.
  • Monitor competitors, market trends, and developments across solar design, engineering, yield, and adjacent software.
  • Develop technical sales enablement, training, presentations, webinars, and educational content.
  • Serve as a bridge between Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and technical customers.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, validate product direction, and strengthen the Voice of Customer.
  • Help commercial teams understand not only what PVcase does, but how and why it matters to them.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B tech or renewable energy industries, with a proven track record of leading product strategy and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Preferred: Experience working for or closely with utility-scale solar developers, IPPs, EPCs, or renewable energy companies.
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of developer workflows and the US renewable energy market.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and market analysis skills.
  • Experience conducting customer research and translating insights into strategy.
  • Preferred: Experience with PVcase Prospect or similar prospecting, GIS, or development software is highly preferred.
  • Fluent English required.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Immigration-related employment benefits, for example visa sponsorship, are not available for this position.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in the solar industry, ideally with working knowledge of utility-scale solar.
  • Strong understanding of solar project development, design, engineering, or construction workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with software or other CAD-based design and engineering software.
  • Experience in solar engineering, PV design, applications engineering, solutions engineering, project engineering, EPC, development, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of how developers, EPCs, engineering firms, and technical teams work and make decisions.
  • Ability to quickly learn and confidently demonstrate technical software and workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex engineering concepts.
  • Comfortable presenting to technical customers, commercial teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate customer, market, and competitive insights into recommendations.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to comfortably connect technical capabilities to business value.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or another relevant technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Preferred: Formal product marketing experience (secondary to the technical solar qualification).
