What you'll do

  • Translates institutional and user needs into precise, technically informed specifications for engineering teams.
  • Produces detailed product requirements, use cases, workflows and design specifications for AEM.
  • Owns design system, component library, and delivery standards across uniform and tailored work.
  • Ensures work entering production adheres to defined patterns or documented exceptions.
  • Develops, maintains, and evolves governance documentation and component usage guidelines for AEM.
  • Conducts regular audits of web properties for adherence to design system standards.
  • Bridges engineering, content, design, and marketing teams with clear technical communication.
  • Leads approval processes for design/tech user stories and stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Embeds regulatory, accessibility, and privacy requirements into product decisions and workflows.
  • Integrates accessibility and compliance testing into product development lifecycle.
  • Optimizes delivery processes for repeatable and tailored work and participates in agile ceremonies.
  • Monitors project progress, resolves problems, and reports on project velocity.
  • Creates and delivers user experiences in AEM in collaboration with designers and digital teams.
  • Identifies KPIs, builds dashboards/reports, and recommends feature optimization based on analytics.

What they require

  • Six (6) years of progressive product management experience or related experience in web/digital platforms, including delivery of feature enhancements start to finish required.
  • Three (3) years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, including component architecture and design system governance required.
  • Experience working in healthcare, regulated industries, or environments with strict compliance and accessibility requirements required.
  • Experience managing or stewarding a design system and/or component library across multiple teams or stakeholders required.
  • BA/BS, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in technical communication with engineering teams.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate institutional needs into platform-viable specifications.
  • Deep understanding of design systems, component-based architecture, and governance frameworks within CMSs, particularly Adobe AEM.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Understanding of web application architectures, AEM templates, components, workflows, and permissions models.
  • Knowledge of compliance, data privacy, and accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG/Section 508).
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML & CSS and understanding of front-end development principles related to AEM components and templates.
  • Familiarity with agile product development and SCRUM.
  • Demonstrated experience holding governance standards across distributed teams, including establishing, documenting, and enforcing exception processes.
