What you'll do

  • Own the discovery roadmap: one pipeline that finds identities, accounts, and resources across AWS, Azure, GCP, SaaS applications, and on-premises directories, and the rules that promote them to a managed state.
  • Make registration the single integration point for discovery sources.
  • Decide where each discovery capability we run today is heading, and keep a published record of those decisions current.
  • Plan the consolidation: backfill of the assets customers already have, a staged cutover, and a rollback path that has been exercised before it is needed.
  • Define what must ship before an existing capability is retired, so coverage a customer relies on is never withdrawn ahead of its replacement.
  • Bring non-human and AI agent identities into the pipeline under the same registration and promotion rules as everything else.
  • Carry the relationship with the engineering teams whose connectors we are re-homing, and be the single point of contact between them and this team.
  • Gather requirements from internal product teams that consume discovery output, learn their roadmaps, and design services they can adopt without a custom integration.
  • Hold the security bar on the credentials discovery runs with, including least-privilege handling and tenant isolation.
  • Treat coverage and time to first result as the numbers this pipeline is judged on, and push API-first design so other teams can integrate on their own.

What they require

  • Experience: 3-5 years in product management, preferably in AI/ML, cybersecurity, identity, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Domain Expertise: Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), and identity governance (IGA).
  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of modern AI/ML concepts—including large language models, multi-agent systems, context engineering, MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent-to-Agent Protocol), and expertise in model fine-tuning and training. Ability to discuss technical tradeoffs with engineering teams.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work alongside data scientists, engineers, and UX professionals to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions.
  • Security Sensibility: Knowledge of compliance, security, and privacy best practices relevant to enterprise software and AI products.
  • Product Delivery: Demonstrable record of managing and launching AI-driven or data-centric products, working through full product lifecycle.
  • Open Source/Customer Product Experience: Experience supporting or growing open-source AI platforms and/or direct customer-facing products.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to translate technical capabilities into compelling business value.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Preferred: Experience working with PAM/IGA governance initiatives.
  • Preferred: Experience engaging with open source or technical user communities.
