What you'll do

  • Actively researches and stays abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product’s competitive position.
  • Identifies measurable KPIs with monitoring/reporting solutions in partnership with business and IT ownership.
  • Directs scoping, planning, business requirements definition and delivery of products and services through full product lifecycle.
  • Provides product management oversight including strategic product planning; budgeting and forecasting; pricing; sales strategy; positioning, packaging, and messaging; marketing and sales material development; product training, testing, assessment, and support; RFP support; and product demonstrations.
  • Partners with business stakeholders, end-users and business analysts to define business rules and document business requirements and workflow/process models.
  • Owns prioritization of product backlog for assigned products and coordinates with IT and Business teams to ensure delivery.
  • Assesses and addresses functional specifications, non-functional requirements and operational readiness.
  • Monitors development schedule to ensure on-time delivery of software initiatives.
  • Coordinates and participates in user acceptance testing efforts.
  • Creates demonstrations, tutorials, release notes, help guides, and FAQs to drive adoption.
  • Contributes to sales and marketing materials and provides product/system demonstrations to clients.
  • Completes documentation throughout product/project lifecycle (business cases, plans, requirements, data dictionaries, SOPs, product toolkits).

What they require

  • BS/BA and 5+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years' of SME in respective areas
  • Product Management Certification (Scrum Product Owner) required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office / Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of key business applications/tools such as MS SQL, Oracle 19c, Golden 32/TOAD, MedAccess, MedOptimize, SalesForce, and UNIX operating systems
  • Understanding of Tableau and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Ability to define requirements and prepare and maintain detailed product/project plans, roadmaps, and related financial analysis
  • Ability to collaborate on cross-functional projects and liaise with stakeholders in both the business and IT
  • Ability to effectively recognize complex problems and apply analytic and critical thinking skills to innovate solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with clients and staff of all levels and achieve results
