Product Manager Product Manager – Industrial / Infrastructure (Water Preferred) United States | Global Environment We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of engineered products serving the water infrastructure and utility markets. This role will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and customers to identify market opportunities, define product requirements, and bring new products to market. The successful candidate will own the product roadmap, support new product development initiatives, and help drive growth across an established product portfolio. The ideal candidate combines strong product management experience with a technical mindset and enjoys working directly with customers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges. Experience with industrial, infrastructure, utility, water, or other engineered products is highly valued. This is not a marketing focused product role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable owning products throughout their full lifecycle, from customer needs and product definition through launch, commercialization, and ongoing portfolio management. Key Responsibilities Own the full product lifecycle: requirements, development, launch, pricing, and post-launch performance Lead new product development (NPI) from customer need (VOC) through production Translate customer and field requirements into product specifications Work closely with R&D / Engineering teams to define and refine product solutions Conduct market, competitive, and pricing analysis to support product positioning Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales Support product documentation, technical materials, and commercialization activities Engage directly with customers, distributors, and field stakeholders Required Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on Product Management experience Proven experience managing physical / engineered products (not digital-only or marketing roles) Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end product lifecycle (requirements → development → launch) Experience working in an industrial / manufacturing environment (Infrastructure, Water, Utilities, Industrial Equipment, HVAC, Construction or similar) Hands-on experience working closely with R&D / Engineering teams Strong experience with customer engagement (VOC), market analysis, and product definition Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent technical background) Strong Advantages Experience in water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors Experience in regulated environments Project management certification (PMP / PMI / IPMA) Experience working in global organizations Who This Role Is For Product Managers who: Work comfortably with engineering and technical teams Have experience in industrial / physical products Are execution-oriented and own delivery, not just strategy This role is best suited for Product Managers with hands-on experience in industrial, engineering-driven environments, who are comfortable working closely with R&D teams and managing physical products throughout their lifecycle. Candidates with backgrounds primarily in marketing, policy, or digital-only product environments may find this role less aligned with their experience.
