What you'll do

  • Own the problem end to end — through discovery, design, prototype, launch and measurement.
  • Apply product thinking to state the user's problem precisely and which part of the solution addresses it.
  • Build working prototypes yourself with AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Replit or similar) so users can test within days.
  • Own product branches together with their hypotheses; name the metric you expect to move and verify it afterwards.
  • Deliver clean, consistent design — structure, spacing, typography, edge cases handled.
  • Report directly to the VP of Product, partnering with a product manager.

What they require

  • 3+ years of product design, including mobile apps.
  • Hands-on work on real products, ideally mobile-first consumer apps.
  • Prototyping with AI tools — build working prototypes in Claude Code, Codex, Replit or similar (required).
  • Product and metrics literacy — express work as a hypothesis (what changes, roughly how much, what would show it's wrong).
  • Comfort designing around AI-powered dynamics and shifting hypotheses.
  • Figma: components, auto layout, variants, prototyping, versioning.
  • High ownership — accountable for outcomes, not hand-offs; unblocks yourself.
  • Proactivity — find and start work before it is assigned.
  • Comfortable ambiguity — turn underdefined problems into something workable.
  • Bias for shipping — early rough working versions over extended planning.
  • Attention to craft and detail.
  • Direct, open communication in Slack, Figma and live sessions.
  • Learning speed — rate of self-improvement weights more than years.

Benefits

  • Learn from an experienced product team (alumni of Miro, Palta, Uber, Bolt).
  • Shape mobile learning in a product with more than a million users.
  • Freedom to test hypotheses — prototype an idea and try it without consensus or planning cycles.
  • Broad scope for one seat — design, product decisions and building combined.
  • Short path to decisions — report directly to the VP of Product.
