What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary analytical partner for the product team
  • Independently formulate hypotheses and assist in designing A/B tests
  • Analyze player behavior to uncover patterns and opportunities
  • Design and analyze A/B tests from hypothesis setting and sample size calculation to interpreting results
  • Support feature launches with analytics for data-driven decisions
  • Independently identify trends and anomalies
  • Collaborate closely with Producers and Game Designers
  • Build and maintain production-quality dashboards in Tableau
  • Design and implement new analytical events within the product
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of internal analytical toolset

What they require

  • 1+ years of experience as a Product or Data Analyst in the gamedev industry
  • Experience working with BigQuery
  • Proven experience designing and analyzing experiments with statistical functions, common pitfalls, and limitations
  • Fluency in F2P metrics and understanding how metrics correlate
  • Ability to build clean, professional-grade dashboards
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into concise conclusions and recommendations for the CEO or Producer
  • Basic experience with version control for managing queries and analytical code
  • Uses modern AI tools to enhance workflow
  • Ability to make decisions based on data and argue them
  • Successful experience implementing own ideas based on analytics in games or internal products
  • Love for games and understanding of industry trends
