What you'll do

  • Define and evolve product vision for content authoring platforms
  • Form product strategy for end-user content delivery to teachers, students, and administrators
  • Drive CMS and content architecture conversations (content models, workflows, permissions, versioning, publishing)
  • Set product strategy and success metrics for authoring, delivery, and CMS capabilities
  • Translate instructional and operational needs into well-scoped product initiatives
  • Write roadmap proposals and product requirements
  • Collaborate with Product Design and Engineering on user-centered decisions and trade-offs
  • Identify and reduce friction across the content lifecycle from creation to classroom use
  • Act as subject matter expert on content platforms for commercial products

What they require

  • 7+ years of product management experience with senior ownership of complex platforms or systems
  • Experience building products serving multiple user types (authors, teachers, students, admins, internal teams)
  • Deep understanding of content authoring tools, CMS platforms, and structured content systems
  • Strong systems thinking able to reason about data models, workflows, and downstream impacts
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and lead through collaboration
  • Comfort working hands on with detailed requirements while maintaining strategic perspective
  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
