No BS summary

Principal-level product manager with 8+ years of experience building high-impact products. Deep technical judgment for shipping AI-driven automation in messy real-world workflows (data flows, integrations, permissions, reliability) and hands-on, forward-deployed engagement with restaurant operators. Must be based in the United States or Canada (role is 100% remote for US/Canada).

Core skills

AI product management

What you'll do

  • Own and scale this AI-native operator experience for restaurants, bringing together daily workflows operators rely on across mobile and desktop.
  • Build experiences that synthesize what matters, explain why it matters, recommend the next best action, and make it easy to act.
  • Bring together workflows including orders, guest issues, operational settings, business performance, and growth opportunities into a cohesive product experience.
  • Build personalized business guidance: show restaurants the value Owner is driving, identify highest-impact opportunities, and deliver recommendations across product, email, SMS, customer success, and AI agent experiences.
  • Scale unified guest and order management: help restaurants monitor, manage, and resolve reviews, support requests, forms, order issues, and operational exceptions quickly.
  • Productize best-practice playbooks into simple actions, one-tap actions, and safe automation.
  • Earn trust in AI-assisted execution by designing permissions, confirmations, evaluation loops, rollback paths, and failure handling.
  • Operate forward-deployed: spend meaningful time with restaurant owners and teams — in restaurants, in kitchens, over text, and alongside support and success teams to inform product priorities and AI behavior.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering, data, AI, customer success, operations) toward high-impact operator outcomes.

What they require

  • 8+ years of product management experience, or equivalent building experience, with a track record of shipping high-impact products.
  • Forward-deployed customer obsession: visiting restaurants, observing live workflows, texting with operators, and shadowing frontline teams to build conviction.
  • AI product instincts grounded in real operations; think in loops — signals → decisions → actions → learning — and care about quality, trust, and iteration.
  • Excellent product judgment and taste; reduce cognitive load and simplify messy workflows for non-technical users.
  • Technical depth and strong engineering partnership; reason about systems, data flows, integrations, permissions, reliability, and tradeoffs.
  • Bias toward outcomes over features; connect product work to customer and business impact.
  • Strong prioritization and execution: balance speed, correctness, and long-term maintainability.
  • Cross-functional leadership and ability to align opinionated stakeholders.
  • This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
