No BS summary

Own a portfolio-scope growth surface — from first impression to revenue. You will set the multi-quarter growth thesis, run weekly structured experiments (8-10 per sprint), design the credit-based monetization mechanics, and route high-intent PQLs to sales.

What you'll do

  • Define and own the portfolio-scope growth surface: entry points, activation milestones, monetization moments, sales-assist signals, and the user experience across landing, signup, onboarding, empty states, upgrade and paywall moments, lifecycle comms, and agent-readable/LLM-discovery surfaces.
  • Set the 4–8 quarter growth thesis for the portfolio, including papered POV on PLG distribution (LLM-first discovery, MCP-as-channel, agent-readable onboarding, partner-driven trials) and quarterly rebalancing investment across channels based on unit economics.
  • Run weekly structured experiments (8-10 per sprint) with pre-registered hypothesis, success metrics, and invalidation signals — and set the team's experiment rubric, retrospective format, and invalidation-standard template.
  • Design the monetization mechanic: credit economics (what's free, gated, upgrade triggers, PUL routing), unit economics (credit cost, revenue per credit, upgrade/expansion rates), and defend pricing decisions to finance and sales leadership.
  • Diagnose funnel leaks with data: independently analyze cohorts, find leaks, propose fixes, and validate via experiments; know with confidence levels (whether to trust a 5% lift) and fall back to portfolio-level re-tuning when needed.
  • Orchestrate sales, marketing, and CS alignment: route active PULs to the right AE/SC/AM, partner with marketing on acquisition and lifecycle, and collaborate with CS on reasons for churn.
  • Mentor: hire, coach, calibrate the Sr Growth PMs; your retro is their template and your experiment bar is their bar.
  • Write honest retrospectives that name wrong calls as cleanly as right ones; update priors publicly when data turns.
  • Represent the growth portfolio to leadership (CEO/CRO/CMO/CFO and board) with the credit-economics deck, funnel narrative, and 'kill this bet' moments.

What they require

  • 8–12 years of product management experience, with 4+ years specifically in growth, PLG, or self-serve product roles
  • Direct P&L ownership at portfolio scope — a loop or portfolio driven from <$X to >$Y with the name on the number
  • Experience presenting to CEO / CRO / CFO / board on growth mechanics
  • Track record of hiring, mentoring, or calibrating other growth PMs
  • A builder: ships landing pages, signup flows, and in-product experiments (not specs that sit in Jira); writes copy, prototypes with code
  • AI-fluent with a public POV (agent-readable flows, MCP-as-distribution, GEO/AEO, and how an AI agent's recommendation impacts a funnel)
  • Marketing-fluent: holds own as a peer with SEO, paid acquisition, content, lifecycle marketing
  • Demonstrated track record of structured experimentation (A/B, multivariate, holdouts, pre/post) at sprint cadence, including at sizes where standard 50/50 splits lack statistical power
  • Strong analytics fluency — comfortable in Snowflake, doesn't hand cases to analysts
  • Working knowledge of consumption-based pricing, credit economics, freemium mechanics, and PQL frameworks
  • B2B SaaS background; data, GTM, or sales-tech domain experience is a plus but not required
