The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Principal Consultant - Programmes to join our growing consulting team. This is a senior role for an accomplished programme professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys helping organisations deliver large-scale transformation successfully. You'll lead major client engagements, often involving multiple workstreams, suppliers and senior stakeholders, while providing strategic advice and hands-on delivery leadership. You'll be trusted to shape programmes from mobilisation through to successful delivery, building strong client relationships and creating the confidence that turns projects into long-term partnerships. What You'll Be Doing As a Principal Consultant, you will bring proven experience of: Leading the mobilisation, planning and delivery of large-scale, complex transformation programmes, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor tosenior client stakeholders, including Programme Directors, SROs and executive leadership teams, providing strategic guidance and challenge where appropriate. Conducting discovery, assessment and diagnostic activities, and translating findings into clear recommendations, roadmaps and delivery plans. Taking accountability for programme outcomes, including scope, schedule, quality, risks, dependencies and benefits realisation. Establishing and leading effective governance arrangements, reporting forums and Programme Boards, ensuring robust decision-making and programme oversight. Coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams, suppliers and partner organisations within complex stakeholder environments. Leading, coaching and mentoring consulting teams, driving high-quality delivery and supporting the development of team capability. Identifying growth opportunities within client accounts and contributing to business development activities, including follow-on engagements and strategic account development. Developing and enhancing consulting methodologies, delivery frameworks and thought leadership in collaboration with Civiteq's leadership team. Requirements We're looking for an experienced programme leader with a track record of delivering complex transformation programmes and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Essential Experience Leading large-scale digital transformation or ERP programmes Managing multi-workstream delivery and programme governance Working with senior stakeholders and executive teams Leading consulting or delivery teams in complex environments Managing programme risks, budgets, resources and delivery outcomes Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills Desirable Experience UK public sector or local government transformation programmes Enterprise technology, cloud or ERP implementations Multi-supplier delivery environments PMO, assurance or programme controls experience Contributing to bids, Statements of Work and resourcing plans Identifying growth opportunities within client accounts Benefits You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team where your work makes a real impact. We offer: Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 per year. We are committed to offering salaries that are fair, competitive and aligned to experience and capability. This role is fully remote, but there will be a requirement to travel to client sites. We aim to balance flexibility with meaningful in-person engagement.
