What you'll do

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within Company-owned retail coffeehouses
  • Complete regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment including espresso/brewing, HVAC and refrigeration
  • Independently manage scheduling based on needs of the business
  • Track and maintain equipment data
  • Evaluate equipment to assess for repairs or replacement
  • Provide troubleshooting support for store operations on equipment issues
  • Provide direct service support to retail stores for repair and maintenance needs (day-to-day and emergency)
  • Install and de-install equipment
  • Coordinate repairs through 3rd party service providers
  • Identify repair trends and issues in partnership with Store Operations leadership
  • Report issues and findings to Facilities leadership
  • Adapt communication to store leadership to maintain partnership
  • Constructively address problems and issues to find acceptable practical solutions
  • Inventory control and management
  • Transport products to/from supplier, storage and coffeehouse
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as required

What they require

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing restaurant equipment (experience with espresso and brewing equipment is a plus)
  • Experience maintaining mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
  • Knowledgeable/experienced with restaurant/food service equipment and building systems
  • Valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record per company policy
  • Ability to travel 40-50% of the time
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
