What you'll do

  • Work closely with the sales and technical teams throughout the presales lifecycle.
  • Participate in customer discovery meetings and identify technical, operational, and security requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into clear and practical cybersecurity solutions.
  • Deliver product presentations, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Design high-level solution architectures and integration approaches.
  • Prepare technical proposals, solution descriptions, statements of work, compliance matrices, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Explain complex cybersecurity concepts clearly to CISOs, IT managers, security teams, procurement departments, and business stakeholders.
  • Map proposed solutions to relevant frameworks and requirements, including NIS2, ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR, and other applicable standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to validate technical feasibility and communicate customer requirements.
  • Support sales opportunities from initial discovery through technical validation and closing.
  • Build reusable presales material, including demo scenarios, solution briefs, technical presentations, and proposal templates.
  • Keep up to date with cybersecurity technologies, market developments, competing solutions, and emerging threats.
  • Provide structured handover to delivery and implementation teams after an opportunity is won.

What they require

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT solutions, technical consulting, systems engineering, or a presales-related role.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity technologies and concepts.
  • Ability to understand customer environments and design appropriate technical solutions.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both highly technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience preparing technical proposals, presentations, or tender documentation.
  • Good understanding of enterprise IT environments, networks, cloud platforms, APIs, and software architectures.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to connect technical capabilities with measurable customer value.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, events, and demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with several of the following areas: Application Security, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and API security; Vulnerability Management and Continuous Security Monitoring; Cyber Threat Intelligence and threat intelligence platforms; External Attack Surface Management; SIEM, SOC, SOAR, and incident response processes; Cloud and infrastructure security; Software supply-chain security, SBOM, and dependency risk; Threat modelling and security architecture; Penetration testing and security assessment methodologies; Risk management and cybersecurity compliance.
