What you'll do
- Deliver compelling, market-driven sales presentations that effectively communicate the value of Great Minds' curricula.
- Collaborate with field sales team members (RSMs, ASDs, ARs) to customize presentations based on regional and account-specific strategies.
- Partner with ASMs in pre-sales customer conversations exploring solutions opportunities and pilot options.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and support pre-sales efforts, including strategy development, training, and preparation activities.
- Facilitate pilot training sessions for educators and provide ongoing support to ensure successful pilot implementation aligned with account strategies.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Great Minds' products and effectively connect them to educational trends, district priorities, and instructional best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with internal sales teams while also taking initiative and working independently.
- Stay current on educational trends, priorities, and pedagogy to inform strategic sales initiatives and client interactions.
- Deliver live pre-sales webinars that are customized to district needs.
- Handle customer questions and overcome objections.
- Utilize knowledge of competitors' products to better position Great Minds products.
What they require
- At least 3 years of experience teaching, coaching, or pre-sales support.
- Experience working in educational sales or curriculum implementation.
- Proficiency with or alignment to Great Minds instructional design and pedagogy.
- Engaging presentation and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of educational curricula and instructional strategies.
- Ability to build rapport with educators and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational habits necessary for successful goal setting, project management, collective decision making, deadline execution, and record keeping.
- Ability to make solutions-oriented decisions through flexible thinking in an ambiguous, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to fly and drive are required for this position.
- Must reside near a major airport.
- Travel: may travel up to 80% of the time during peak sales times (Aug-Nov; Jan–May).
