DLB is seeking a Power Engineering Manager to lead, grow, and manage its substation and grid integration engineering practice. This role involves technical delivery, quality oversight, team leadership, and business development for utility-scale power engineering services across various markets.

What you'll do

  • Lead, manage, and develop the power engineering team across substation, BESS, and grid integration disciplines.
  • Lead business development efforts for the power engineering practice including client development, proposal leadership, and contract negotiation.
  • Provide technical oversight and EOR review for power engineering projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and liability management.
  • Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and workload distribution across the power engineering team.
  • Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

What they require

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
  • 15+ years of progressive power engineering experience with demonstrated leadership of substation, BESS, or grid integration projects.
  • Minimum 5 years in an engineering management, practice leadership, or department director role.
  • Deep knowledge of utility-scale power engineering including substation design (AIS/GIS), BESS/IBR interconnection, protection & control, and grid integration across medium- and high-voltage systems.
