Yopeso has been developing a diverse range of software products, from large-scale applications to smaller solutions, for 20 years. With a growing team of over 300 employees across five locations, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of growth, transparency, and professionalism.
At Yopeso, we value authenticity, curiosity, and ambition. These values drive us to build strong connections within our community and with our partners, ensuring trust, integrity, and transparency in all our business practices. We strive to maintain the highest professional standards and continuously challenge ourselves to develop high-quality, high-performance, and secure software solutions.
Our approach is rooted in efficient collaboration among passionate professionals working in agile teams. Guided by curiosity and ambition, we strive to create products that are meaningful and impactful, while remaining true to our authentic selves.
We are looking for a Post-Merger Integration Manager to lead the successful integration of acquired companies and build a repeatable PMI capability for future acquisitions.
You will own the integration program from pre-close planning and Day 1 readiness through operational and cultural integration, coordinating leaders across the acquiring and acquired organizations. Your focus will be on aligning people, processes, operations, culture, and ways of working to ensure the acquisition delivers its intended business value.
This is a business and organizational integration role, rather than a hands-on technical systems role. Functional leaders across IT, Finance, People/HR, and other areas remain accountable for their respective workstreams, while you own the overall integration plan, governance, coordination, risks, and dependencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration planning and execution, from pre-close and Day 1 through stabilization and full integration.
- Develop and manage the integration roadmap, milestones, owners, dependencies, and success metrics across functional workstreams.
- Act as the key integration point between senior leadership, functional teams, and the acquired organization.
- Coordinate People/HR, Finance, IT, Operations, and other workstreams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Identify and resolve organizational, cultural, communication, and process gaps across teams and geographies.
- Track integration risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, bringing leadership clear recommendations and solutions.
- Support the realization of expected synergies, efficiencies, and other deal value.
- Facilitate integration meetings, workshops, and leadership updates to maintain alignment and accountability.
- Support due diligence and pre-close planning for future acquisitions, bringing an integration perspective to deal evaluation.
- Build and continuously improve PMI playbooks, templates, governance processes, and lessons learned to make future integrations faster and more effective.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in post-merger integration, M&A, business transformation, or large-scale organizational change.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects across multiple teams, countries, or locations.
- Strong understanding of organizational, operational, cultural, and people-related aspects of integration.
- Experience working with senior leadership and managing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Genuine cross-cultural fluency and experience working with international teams.
- Strong program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and adapting as priorities change.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support integration activities.
- Experience in technology, software, or professional services.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end integration planning and execution for the acquisition, from Day 1 readiness through full operational and cultural integration.
- Act as the primary point of contact between leadership, functional teams, and the acquired organization throughout the integration period.
- Identify and resolve cross-cultural, communication, and process gaps between merging teams, drawing on experience working with cultures and teams around the world.
- Design and track an integration roadmap with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics across HR, operations, systems, and culture workstreams.
- Partner with People/HR, Finance, IT, and business unit leaders to align policies, tools, reporting lines, and ways of working.
- Surface risks and blockers early, and propose pragmatic solutions rather than escalating without options.
- Build and maintain integration documentation, playbooks, and lessons-learned repositories to support future M&A activity.
- Support due diligence and pre-close planning on future acquisitions, bringing an integration lens to deal evaluation.
- Facilitate workshops and check-ins to keep both sides of the integration aligned, transparent, and accountable to agreed actions.
- Report integration progress and risks to leadership on a regular cadence.
What they require
- Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience working with people and teams from different cultures and countries, with genuine cross-cultural fluency, not just exposure.
- Track record delivering international, cross-border, or multi-site projects.
- Prior experience in M&A integration, post-merger integration (PMI), or a related change-management/transformation role.
- Strong stakeholder management skills - able to build trust quickly with people who did not choose to be part of a merger.
- Structured, organized approach: comfortable building roadmaps, tracking actions, and driving accountability without formal authority over every team involved.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities, typical of active deal environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support integration activities across locations.
- Proven experience in post-merger integration, M&A, business transformation, or large-scale organizational change.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects across multiple teams, countries, or locations.
