What you'll do

  • Provide Independent Engineering (IE) advisory support for technical due diligence, credit evaluation, lifecycle monitoring, and assurance activities in the DOE Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) program, focusing on integrated pipeline systems, hydraulics, integrity, operations, and lifecycle performance.
  • Receive reviews of project documentation, evaluate technical and commercial risk, identify risks and mitigations, and validate assumptions.
  • Support conditions precedent, disbursement readiness reviews, and credit / monitoring / certification decision-making.
  • Prepare system models, hydraulic studies, integrity plans, operating envelope reviews, and lifecycle performance reports.
  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, construction, environmental, HSE, and project controls stakeholders to support timely lender and DOE decisions.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering, construction, operations, risk, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory experience
  • Demonstrated work on oil and gas, power, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects for project teams, LNG/pipe owners, lenders, or federal clients
  • PE, PMP, CSP, API, NACE/AMPP, PMI or discipline-specific credentials preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word; Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, Visio
  • US legal status to work in the US; ability to obtain clients' security clearance (STD background check required)
