What you'll do

  • Communicates coding and CDI review findings and documentation feedback to physicians and clinical teams.
  • Provides updates on procedural changes and regulatory standards impacting coding and clinical documentation.
  • Assists in developing and delivering educational materials to address documentation gaps and promote compliance.
  • Coordinates with coding and CDI staff to identify areas requiring physician education and support.
  • Tracks and documents participation in educational sessions to ensure compliance with requirements.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
