Personal Assistant to the CEO
The role of Personal Assistant requires thoughtful and strategic judgment across a variety of personal situations, and it requires high trust and confidence. This person will be trusted as part of the daily support system for our CEO, ensuring that he optimizes his life to be at his best and deliver the highest value for Proto. This role will report to the Saneel Radia’s EA, and function as an extension of his support team.
What you will do:
- Completes a wide variety of personal and administrative tasks for the CEO, including proactive calendar and appointment management, medical and health management, and household and lifestyle management;
- Plans, coordinates, and ensures the CEO is prepared for all personal travel and family events, including end-to-end planning of family travel for vacations and other events;
- Coordinates multi-track itineraries when schedules diverge, and provides active support during periods of travel change;
- Communicates effectively and professionally, as they will be communicating directly with the CEO’s family and other important people in their life;
- Acts as a point of personal leverage to the CEO, proactively raising both opportunities and concerns well in advance, so that the CEO can balance work and personal life as effectively as possible;
- Performs ad hoc tasks and personal projects that are highly complex and sensitive; requiring research and coordination;
- Responds in real-time, and understands that this job often requires communication outside of core business hours, especially during travel windows.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred;
- Any work or internship experience in a high-paced entrepreneurial environment, ideally in a client service industry;
This is a 1099 contract position paying $30.00 - $35.00 per hour and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. The position is expected to average approximately 40 hours per week, although hours may vary based on business needs.
Proto is a NYC-based company with offices at 120 Broadway. Due to our CEO living in Austin, the preference is for this person to be based there. This role does not have an in-office requirement and can work remotely when not required for in-person activities based around the CEO’s home.
