What you'll do

  • Manage all core HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HRIS administration, and PEO partnership.
  • Ensure HR processes are efficient, scalable, compliant, and employee-focused.
  • Maintain accurate employee data, reporting, and HR documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and streamline workflows.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
  • Coach managers through performance concerns, workplace issues, and difficult conversations.
  • Support investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and conflict resolution while ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Administer the company's performance management program, including goal setting, performance reviews, calibration, and employee development.
  • Partner with managers to improve coaching, feedback, and accountability.
  • Track completion and ensure a consistent employee experience across the organization.
  • Manage recruiting operations from requisition through onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Oversee interview scheduling, offers, background checks, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
  • Manage employee referral programs and recruiting processes.
  • Partner with brokers, benefit vendors, and our PEO to ensure smooth administration of employee benefits.
  • Support employees by answering benefit questions and resolving benefit-related issues.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment and ongoing benefit communications.
  • Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while partnering with General Counsel on complex matters.
  • Update HR policies and procedures as regulations evolve.
  • Support audits and ensure HR documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
  • Administer annual compensation review and bonus processes.
  • Prepare HR reports, compensation analyses, and workforce metrics to support leadership decision-making.
  • Support ongoing People programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

What they require

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources or People Operations experience.
  • Experience supporting organizations (or divisions) with 50+ employees in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred, particularly supporting a Physician Corporation (PC) and Management Services Organization (MSO) structure.
  • Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws.
  • Experience administering HRIS platforms (such as Gusto) and partnering with a PEO (such as Prestige).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Passion for building a positive, high-performing company culture.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to manage highly confidential information.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing day-to-day operational work.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting fully distributed, multi-state teams.
  • Preferred: Experience working in high-growth startups or digital healthcare organizations.
