What you'll do

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee People and Culture inquiries and requests.
  • Respond to questions regarding People and Culture policies, benefits, payroll, time off, and employment-related processes. Tracks issues for trends and monitors response time.
  • Escalate complex employee relations, compensation, or compliance matters to appropriate People and Culture team members.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation in accordance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, employee status changes, and organizational updates.
  • Serve as initial of contact People and Culture business partners to resolve issues and requests
  • Process employee transactions in Workday, including hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
  • Assist employees and managers with Workday navigation and self-service functionality.
  • Perform data audits and ensure People and Culture data integrity and accuracy.
  • Support Workday reporting requests and routine People and Culture metrics reporting.
  • Assist with testing and implementation of Workday enhancements and process improvements.
  • Support benefits enrollment, life event changes, and annual open enrollment activities.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding health and welfare, retirement, and company benefit programs.
  • Coordinate with benefits vendors to resolve employee issues and inquiries.
  • Maintain benefits records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in preparing employee communications and educational materials related to benefits programs.
  • Support People and Culture compliance activities, including employment documentation and regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive People and Culture records.
  • Assist with audits, People and Culture reporting, and special projects as assigned.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits, HR Operations, or HRIS administration.
  • Experience working with HR systems, preferably Workday.
  • Strong customer service and employee support skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience supporting benefits administration.
  • Experience with Workday
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and employment practices.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or working toward certification).
