Board-certified/eligible pediatric neurologist with an MD/DO and a New Mexico medical license. Part-time (0.2 FTE) remote role providing comprehensive care for pediatric neurology patients. Must be able to work in New Mexico.
What you'll do
- Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes of pediatric neurology patients.
- Manages the physician/patient relationship, working to assure patient and family satisfaction with care.
- Participate in system-wide health management initiatives.
- Provide input into the practice sites financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
- Receive and resolve patient complaints.
- Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
- Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric hematology oncology patients.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.
- Works to assure patient satisfaction with care.
- Participates in team and multispecialty group meetings.
- Provides input into the practice site's financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
- Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes within the assigned facilities.
- Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and reimbursement level, including legible documentation.
- Assists in leading the Advanced Practice Clinicians in delivering appropriate patient education/care
