What you'll do
- Identify, negotiate with, and onboard banks, PSPs, acquirers, PayFacs, processors, payment gateways, wallets, and local payment methods
- Manage partnerships from initial contact through commercial negotiation, compliance review, integration, and launch
- Negotiate processing fees, settlement cycles, reserves, transaction limits, and other commercial terms
- Monitor payment performance and resolve operational issues with providers
- Build backup channels and diversify the provider mix
- Coordinate with Product, Integration, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams
- Support cross-border e-commerce and regulated or higher-risk merchant sectors
What they require
- 4+ years of experience in payments, fintech, merchant acquiring, banking, or payment partnerships
- Strong knowledge of the payment ecosystem in Panama, Central America, or the Caribbean
- Existing relationships with banks, PSPs, acquirers, processors, or payment gateways
- Experience negotiating and launching payment channels
- Knowledge of card acquiring, bank transfers, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, and KYC/AML
- Experience with iGaming, Forex, Crypto, or cross-border e-commerce is a major advantage
- Fluent Spanish and professional working English
