Job Title: Oracle HCM Cloud Principal Consultant Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Reports to: Scott Newton, President Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site at the customer location. Travel is required. The percentage of travel to customer sites, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies. Job Summary: The Oracle Cloud HCM Principal Consultant serves as a functional leader for Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, specializing in Core HR This role is responsible for working directly with client stakeholders to define business requirements, lead solution design, and deliver Oracle Cloud configurations that support HR operations and administration. The Principal Consultant provides subject matter expertise across Core HR while collaborating with project leadership, technical teams, and architects to ensure successful project delivery. This role also supports client relationship management, functional leadership of project teams, and the adoption of Oracle HCM best practices. Duties/Responsibilities: Own the client: Build and maintain strong relationships with client HR stakeholders. Support executive alignment regarding project direction and escalations. Manage and ensure timely issue identification and resolution. Participate in projects as a Principal Consultant with primary responsibility for Core HR functional delivery. Own the functional solution: Manage the day-to-day functional relationship and alignment with the customer. Lead Core HR design workshops and discovery sessions. Translate client business requirements into Oracle Cloud HCM configurations. Work with the Solution Architect and project leadership to determine the best solution for the customer. Configure and deliver solutions aligned with Oracle best practices and project standards. Provide functional leadership and mentorship to consultants and analysts on the project team. Works well with a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Thorough understanding of principles and planning. Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Supervisory Responsibilities: May assist with training members of the staff. May conduct interviews. Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff. May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Work Environment: The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to secure office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer. Bending, sitting lifting, driving. Bachelor’s degree in or commensurate experience required.
