About the Role
We are seeking a genuinely curious, self-driven Operations Coordinator to keep our supply chain and testing pipelines running seamlessly. In this role, you will be the main operational bridge connecting our internal product team, specialized testing labs, and manufacturing partners.
You’ll take complete ownership of day-to-day communications regarding flavors, scents, raw ingredients, and manufacturing timelines. We are a fast-growing, dynamic company, so we need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative without waiting for hand-holding, and loves figuring things out independently.
Key Responsibilities
Lab & Testing Communication: Direct primary email (and occasional phone) communication with external labs regarding flavors, scents, raw ingredients, and testing protocols. Production Coordination: Coordinate directly with contract manufacturers via email to oversee production schedules, monitor lead times, and align on logistics. Sourcing & Sourcing Research: Proactively research, vet, and source alternative laboratories, ingredient suppliers, and manufacturers when backup options or expansion are needed. Documentation & Organization: Rigorously document, structure, and maintain clear records of all vendor communications, lab results, ingredient specs, and operational workflows. Internal Alignment: Partner closely with our internal Product and Operations teams to ensure external timelines match internal product launches and stock needs.
Requirements
3+ Years Direct Experience: Hands-on experience in operations, supply chain, or vendor management (CPG, food/beverage, beauty, or chemical testing preferred). Lab & Manufacturer Experience: Proven track record coordinating ingredient testing, specs, or production runs with external partners.
English Fluency: Professional C1/C2 written and spoken English for daily partner calls and emails. Tech-Savvy & Autonomous: Proven ability to troubleshoot tools independently, build clean documentation systems, and manage your own workload remotely.
