What you'll do

  • Implements franchisee store startup program, including: operational training and marketing assessments.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge and skill in all areas of operations and training.
  • Contacts franchise owner consistently prior to and after opening.
  • Works with Franchisee regarding pre-opening schedule, training, shift control, scheduling, order & daily/nightly paperwork.
  • Communicates with the Operations Manager and other necessary personnel throughout the opening process sharing the status of opening-related milestones, potential delays or other opening-related issues.
  • Maintains regular follow-up to restaurants post open and visits stores that are not performing well
  • Works with the Operations Manager to develop plan of action to address deficiencies and ensure brand standards are met.
  • Visits all stores a minimum of two (2) times per year.
  • Increases operational standards through guidance, training, and improving management skills.
  • Trains and reinforces franchisees and store employees comply with franchise model and system.
  • Instructs franchisee and store employees on safe operation and handling of equipment and products.
  • Examines P&L statements to advise franchisees on best practices.
  • Consults with franchisee to ascertain and define need or area of opportunity, and determine scope of investigation required to obtain solution.
  • Advises Support Department on issues identified through communication with franchisees.
  • Follows up with franchisee on behalf of Support Department.
  • Compiles brand compliance data and helps franchisees upgrade their image.
  • Assists corporate with planning regional meetings
  • Completes, maintains, and processes required paperwork, records and daily reports.
  • Maintains daily and weekly schedule in Microsoft Outlook (minimum of two weeks in advance).
  • Travels 70-80% in and outside Region.

What they require

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, and scheduling software.
  • Point-of-sale (POS) software.
  • Eligible driver’s license and valid automobile insurance is required
  • A credit card with an available credit limit to cover expenses
  • Strong background in related industry
  • Sales and business operations experience and the ability to read a profit and loss
  • Restaurant experience a must
  • Must be able to travel an average of 70-80% of the time
  • Point-of-sale (POS) software experience.
