Operational Finance & Assurance (FP&A) Expert - AI Training & Evaluation

Location: U.S Candidates Only (Remote) Compensation: $35.00 - $42.00 USD per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking professionals with experience in Operational Finance & Assurance (FP&A), including budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, reconciliations, month-end close, project financials, financial controls, KPI reporting, and business performance analysis. In this role, you will apply your expertise to evaluate AI-generated financial analyses, identify inaccuracies, and help improve the quality, accuracy, and reasoning of advanced AI models.

Temporary Contract Assignment

This is a temporary, project-based contract opportunity supporting an active AI training and evaluation initiative.

While project timelines may vary based on client demand and business needs, candidates selected for the project will have the opportunity to contribute meaningful financial expertise to a growing global AI program.

Project Timeline & Duration

Based on the information currently provided by the client, this is anticipated to be a short-term project lasting approximately 7–10 days, with a tentative start date of August 31, 2026, and completion date depends on project progress, task completion, and client requirements.

Please note that project timelines are subject to change. The start date may be delayed if additional time is needed to reach required participant numbers prior to project kickoff. Likewise, the project duration and end date may be adjusted based on client needs, workload volume, quality requirements, and overall project demand.

What You Will Do

Create and review finance-related prompts, scenarios, and analytical tasks. Evaluate AI-generated responses for financial accuracy, reasoning quality, and business relevance. Apply subject matter expertise to improve model performance and financial understanding. Review financial analyses, assumptions, calculations, and recommendations. Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. Provide structured feedback and quality assessments. Collaborate with project teams to maintain high-quality deliverables. Meet established project timelines and productivity goals.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of professional experience in one of the listed financial disciplines. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written English communication skills. Ability to evaluate complex financial concepts and explain reasoning clearly. Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

CFA Charterholder or CFA Candidate. ACCA, ACA, CMA, MBA Finance, M.Com, or similar credentials. Experience in financial modeling, valuation, forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis, or quantitative research. Experience reviewing technical content, research, or analytical reports. Exposure to AI, machine learning, data annotation, or model evaluation projects is a plus.
