You'll teach motivated students from around the world in real time, supported by CGA's technology, curriculum and community.</p><p><br><strong>Class times (AEST, Sydney): Mondays &amp; Fridays, 11:00 AM</strong></p><p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in Social Science, tailored to the needs of a diverse, international group of students.</p></li><li><p>Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive and supportive online classroom.</p></li><li><p>Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt your teaching to ensure strong learning outcomes for every student.</p></li><li><p>Plan and communicate clear course schedules, detailing lesson content and assessment timelines.</p></li><li><p>Lead professional, interactive live sessions, making full use of CGA's online learning resources and technology.</p></li><li><p>Set meaningful homework, design and administer assessments, and give constructive feedback that encourages student growth.</p></li><li><p>Develop high-quality educational materials, including tests and exams, contributing to CGA's rich resource library.</p></li><li><p>Manage your online classroom on Canvas, keeping it well organised with assignments and assessments for easy student access.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at high school (Grades 9–12) in a school setting (please note that, while valuable, tutoring experience cannot be counted towards this requirement).</p></li><li><p>A Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Science, Humanities, History, Geography, Economics, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative, technology-enabled education.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE/Pre-IG Social Science curriculum and assessment objectives.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. a postgraduate certificate in education, a teaching degree, or a teaching license).</p></li><li><p>Previous online teaching experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Cambridge International or IGCSE examination preparation, including transitioning students from group to individualised learning modes.</p></li></ul><p><strong>About Crimson Global Academy</strong><br>CGA is a world-class online school delivering live, real-time learning to ambitious students around the world.
