What you'll do

  • Oversee and manage one or more frontline nurse teams
  • Provide clinical escalation management, coaching, and mentoring
  • Drive team productivity and performance, conduct queue management and root-cause analyses
  • Serve as an escalation point for escalated member/caregiver interactions
  • Support in building resources, optimizing schedules, and updating policies/procedures
  • Provide clinical expertise in medical, behavioral, and crisis management
  • Take on overflow coverage, holiday, and on-call support as needed
  • Develop strategies for culturally competent care and address health literacy gaps
  • Build strong relationships and lead weekly team huddles
  • Participate in oncology nurse interview loop

What they require

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing (ADN/BSN) preferred
  • Unrestricted multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) compact license (willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed)
  • At least 8 years of nursing experience with 2+ years as a people manager in oncology and/or case management
  • Certified as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Specialist (AOCNS), or Certified Case Manager (CCM)
  • Experience with video chatting, Google Suite, Slack, electronic health records, and/or comfort learning new technologies (essential)
  • Experience as a nurse navigator or case manager (essential)
  • Knowledge and understanding of provider and health plan operations (beneficial)
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced scaling environments
  • Effective listener and coach, with proven track record managing hourly staff or high-performing teams
