Occupational Therapist based in the Townsville region to deliver community-based services to NDIS participants. Needs AHPRA registration, driver’s license, personal vehicle, and checks or willingness to obtain them. Open to all experience levels; onshore applicants seeking sponsorship may be considered.

What you'll do

  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
  • Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
  • Deal with complex cases, explore new treatment approaches, and face professional challenges with support from a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide services to NDIS participants across the local community
  • Work independently from a well-equipped home office

  • Work with a varied, mixed NDIS caseload across the lifespan, including participants with developmental and acquired disabilities

  • You’ll need to be based in the Townsville region to provide services to NDIS participants across the local community.
  • Comfortable working independently from a well-equipped home office, taking initiative and building strong relationships within the local community.
  • Thrives with autonomy, is organised and self-motivated and is genuinely passionate about empowering people with disability to achieve their goals and live more independently.
  • Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist – limited may be considered on a case by case basis
  • A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
  • An NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • The role is open to Occupational Therapists with all levels of experience
  • Onshore applicants seeking sponsorship will be considered.
