What you'll do

  • Serve as a clinical expert dedicated to strengthening the skills, knowledge, and consistency of Thyme Care’s Nurse Practitioner (NP) team.
  • Ensure that every NP is supported in delivering care aligned with our standards of excellence, empathy, and compliance.
  • Play a leading role in developing and executing both onboarding and ongoing training programs for NPs.
  • Create structured, engaging, and effective learning opportunities to help new NPs transition successfully into their roles while ensuring experienced team members continue to grow, adapt, and refine their clinical practice.
  • Oversee NP-focused quality assurance, auditing clinical documentation and workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
  • Pair QA insights with education and mentorship to create a feedback loop that elevates NP performance and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead live and asynchronous onboarding training for new Nurse Practitioners, ensuring they are fully prepared to deliver care aligned with Thyme Care’s standards of excellence, empathy, and compliance.
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive onboarding program that builds clinical confidence, reinforces best practices, and ensures consistency across the NP team.
  • Design and oversee ongoing longitudinal training that supports Nurse Practitioners throughout their time at Thyme Care.
  • Develop structured programs that provide continuous education, reinforcement of evolving best practices, and adoption of new tools, workflows, and technologies.
  • Maintain engaging and accessible training content—leveraging the Learning Management System (LMS), eLearning development tools and other resources—to ensure that NPs have ongoing opportunities to deepen their expertise, strengthen performance, and grow professionally.
  • Oversee quality assurance for the NP team by auditing documentation, workflows, and clinical interactions.
  • Analyze findings to identify trends and gaps, then translate those insights into targeted training, mentorship, and coaching.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence across the NP team through a combined focus on education and quality.

  • Masters in Nursing.
  • Active APRN license with national certification (FNP/AGNP) in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare quality and training; oncology and/or palliative care training experience required.
