What you'll do

  • Perform initial review of a high-volume pipeline of commercial agreements (NDAs, master services agreements, vendor arrangements) ensuring rapid turnaround and adherence to client-specific playbooks.
  • Work within Sterlington's AI-powered review workflow, verify and correct AI-generated first-pass markups, with final calls made by you.
  • Apply legal playbooks accurately and consistently; escalate anything outside established guidance to quality control rather than deciding independently.
  • Identify and flag confidentiality and commercial risks and spot non-standard terms before they reach quality control.
  • Maintain accurate ticket status and clean handoffs across shifts to keep turnaround on track for the next reviewer or QC.
  • Manage a demanding, high-volume queue in a fast-paced review environment, delivering accuracy without sacrificing turnaround speed.

What they require

  • 4+ years of experience in legal contract review, including hands-on NDA review under US or UK law.
  • Genuine interest in AI and legal technology, with daily hands-on use of AI tools in legal work and comfort working alongside AI.
  • Strong background in high-volume commercial contract review environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately from detailed legal playbooks and client-specific instructions, escalating anything outside established guidance rather than deciding independently.
  • Ability to operate independently in a 100% Remote environment, on a fixed schedule.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken legal English with a strong command of legal terminology and language.
  • LL.M. from a U.S. or UK institution preferred (but not required).
