What you'll do

  • Lead the Caplyta US Northeast MSL team in providing scientific, clinical, research, and educational support.
  • Set and drive region strategy with MSL Head, translating TA and Medical Affairs strategy into regional priorities and measurable objectives.
  • Provide coaching, development, and performance management for MSL direct reports including field visits and 1:1s.
  • Ensure execution of field Medical Affairs programs including product launches and proactive initiatives.
  • Oversee collection and analysis of Medical Insights and communicate them to inform strategy and evidence generation.
  • Coordinate closely with Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, and cross-functional partners to align objectives and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and healthcare guidelines and model ethical decision making.
  • Manage team capacity, territory plans, training, and operational/administrative duties (expenses, reporting).
  • Lead/participate in cross-functional scientific projects and represent Field Medical in company initiatives.

What they require

  • A minimum of a master’s degree is required; PharmD, PhD, MD highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years required.
  • Minimum of 4 years pharmaceutical industry experience and minimum of 2 years MSL experience required.
  • Previous people management responsibility is required.
  • Must live in their assigned region and in close proximity to an airport.
  • Regional travel of approx. 60% including overnight and national congresses.
  • Valid US driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data gathering and analysis, clinical expertise, interpersonal influence, and cross-functional collaboration.
