Mortgage Closer with 2+ years of closing experience (first and second liens) responsible for end-to-end closing and funding. Must be meticulously organized, able to manage multiple files in a fast-paced, high-volume remote environment. US-based remote role.

What you'll do

  • Manage the closing and funding process for assigned mortgage loan files, including first and second liens
  • Review loan files Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company, investor, and regulatory guidelines
  • Prepare and act on closing documents, including Loan Estimates (LE), Closing Disclosures (CD), redisclosures, notes, and security instruments
  • Coordinate with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, lenders, and internal teams to facilitate a seamless closing process
  • Ensure all closing conditions are cleared prior to funding
  • Partner with title companies to resolve title issues and ensure clear closing conditions
  • Verify loan terms and documentation comply with applicable federal and state regulations
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Underwriters to address and resolve file-level issues
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all loan transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor pipeline to meet closing timelines and service level expectations (SLAs)
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to closing and disclosures

What they require

  • 2+ years of mortgage closing experience required, including first and/or second liens
  • Strong working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, closing processes, and loan documentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
