What you'll do

  • Responsible for the Pre-Access operations of all centralized hospital departments.
  • Manage centralized scheduling and pre-registration of hospital outpatient departments.
  • Oversee insurance pre-certification of outpatient services.
  • Handle initial insurance authorization for inpatient admissions.
  • Implement and control Pre-Access processes to meet needs of patients, physicians, and departments.
  • Work closely with the business office to identify opportunities for improvement in scheduling, pre-registration, and authorization.
  • Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in encounters with patients, families, visitors and employees.

What they require

  • Bachelor degree
  • 5 years’ leadership experience in a healthcare setting OR a formal internship in a healthcare setting with a master’s degree
