MERN Full Stack Developer

Role OverviewEmilo is a social media startup focused on revolutionizing digital connections through creativity, community, and AI-driven technology. We are looking for a MERN Full-Stack Developer who is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications, working on real-time features like chat, notifications, and live streaming.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and deploy applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.Build and optimize APIs for real-time features including chat, notifications, voice/video calls, and live streaming.Work with Flutter developers for seamless web and mobile integration.Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection.Optimize backend systems for high concurrency, scalability, and performance.Collaborate with the UI/UX team to deliver smooth and engaging user experiences.Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, cloud storage, and AI/ML services.RequirementsStrong knowledge of React.js, Hooks, Context API, and Redux.Strong knowledge of Node.js and the MERN stack.Experience with WebSockets / Socket.IO for real-time applications.Knowledge of AWS or DigitalOcean and cloud deployments.Experience with NoSQL database design and optimization.Understanding of web application security best practices.SkillsReact.jsNode.jsMongoDBSocket.IOAWSNice to HaveExperience with microservices or modular architecture.Knowledge of Redis and CDN-based caching.Experience working on social networking, streaming, or large-scale applications.Exposure to AI/ML integration or AR/VR APIs.
