What you'll do
- Participate in task breakdown, estimation, design, implementation, and maintenance of trading systems.
- Use trading system domain knowledge to influence technical direction and improve processes or technology.
- Solve complex and ambiguous technical problems with practical solutions.
- Review other developers' code for consistency, error reduction, and shared context.
- Improve systems iteratively through instrumentation and metric collection.
What they require
- 3+ years of professional experience with Go.
- Experience with modern software development practices including automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, cloud development, database design, and Git.
- Knowledge of financial asset trading systems and topics such as OEMS, FIX protocol, market data, low latency architectures, matching engines, derivatives, position/risk management, or cryptocurrency trading.
- Real-world experience building financial trading systems.
- Passion for good software engineering practices and strong focus on code quality and test infrastructure.
- Collaborative approach to software engineering, including learning from and mentoring others.
