What you'll do

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, health care professionals and researchers to facilitate the exchange of information about our products and services, via presentations and one-on-one meetings.
  • Supporting the development of professional relationships through appropriate scientific exchange of information and knowledge that benefits 3M customers and patients and acting on identified opportunities to partner with key opinion leaders whose knowledge and expertise on disease state specific initiatives supports 3M’s mission.
  • Representing Solventum at professional meetings, conferences, advisory boards, investigator meetings, local symposia, and partner-sponsored meetings including grand rounds, departmental meetings, and physician practice meetings.
  • Ensuring accurate and effective communication of the value of Solventum products.
  • Identifying and engaging in collaborations with external researchers and institutions to explore potential clinical research initiatives and studies related to our products.
  • Gathering and communicating feedback from healthcare professionals regarding product performance, patient outcomes, and potential areas for product development.
  • Developing and fostering strong relationships with key internal partners to ensure continuous alignment and drive impactful results with a focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Serving as a mentor to Medical Liaison team members.
  • Supporting new product development and various medical affairs teams, e.g., identification of candidates for research and educational collaboration, advisory panels and also being subject matter experts as appropriate.
  • Ensuring that all activities comply with relevant regulatory and ethical standards, maintaining the integrity and reputation of Solventum.
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.

What they require

  • Doctoral degree in biomedical science/engineering and/or health profession (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years medical device work experience in research, clinical and/or medical departments, in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Three (3) years background in wound care/management either in a research or clinical capacity in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with diligence and attention to detail.
  • Engaging, takes initiative, has interpersonal skills and cross-cultural awareness
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively - strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Travel as needed to engage with healthcare professionals and attend industry conferences.
