What you'll do

  • Independently perform intermediate to advanced engineering work and mechanical design tasks under a senior engineer’s supervision.
  • Perform intermediate to advanced computations and analysis for mechanical systems.
  • Utilize Revit software to prepare drawings and visual aids and review and write HVAC controls sequence of operations.
  • Interact directly with client on technical issues, review shop drawings and submittals, and respond to RFIs.
  • Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders and manage personal hours using company tools.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of designing mechanical systems, codes, code analysis, specifications for mechanical systems, DDC controls and monitoring for HVAC systems, electrical systems related to HVAC systems, and fire alarm / protection system devices.
  • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment thru effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information) and directly with clients.
