Independent Contractor – CPT-11363 Marketing & Social Media Virtual Assistant (LinkedIn Focus)/Marketing VA/Junior-Senior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. The company is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing & Social Media Virtual Assistant to support its marketing and communications initiatives with a primary focus on LinkedIn content management and B2B brand visibility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent social media presence by creating content calendars, researching industry topics, writing engaging LinkedIn posts, and adapting content across Facebook and Instagram. This role requires strong written English skills, excellent organization, and the ability to independently manage content planning and execution with minimal supervision.

While marketing and social media will be the primary focus of this position, the successful candidate will also provide business and administrative support as the company continues to grow. Over time, the role may expand to include recurring operational and administrative responsibilities that support the broader needs of the business.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

LinkedIn Management (Primary Focus)

• Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar with LinkedIn as the primary platform.
• Research, create, write, and schedule engaging LinkedIn posts that support company branding and business objectives.
• Create content highlighting:
  • Company news and updates
  • Completed projects and milestones
  • Employee achievements and company culture
  • Community involvement
  • Client successes
  • Industry trends and insights
• Recommend new content ideas and strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
• Stay current with LinkedIn best practices and identify opportunities to improve content performance.

Facebook & Instagram Management

• Repurpose and adapt LinkedIn content for Facebook and Instagram while maintaining consistent messaging and branding.
• Schedule and publish content across multiple social media platforms.
• Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice and communication standards.
• Monitor comments, messages, and engagement activity, notifying the team of items requiring attention or response.

Content Planning & Marketing Support

• Research relevant industry topics, trends, competitors, and content opportunities.
• Assist with planning marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and digital communications.
• Create content ideas that support business goals and audience engagement.
• Monitor social media performance and track basic engagement metrics.
• Provide recommendations for improving content strategy, engagement, and brand awareness.

Business & Administrative Support

While marketing remains the primary responsibility, the Virtual Assistant will also provide general business support as needed, including:

• Assisting with company newsletters and internal communications.
• Preparing, formatting, and reviewing reports, summaries, presentations, and other business documents.
• Conducting research for bids, proposals, industry opportunities, and community events.
• Assisting with marketing-related administrative projects.
• Maintaining organized files, marketing assets, and documentation.
• Providing general administrative and operational support as assigned.
• Supporting special projects and taking on additional recurring responsibilities as the company grows.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

• Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
• Experience creating professional content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing and professional business communications.
• Excellent written English skills with exceptional grammar, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to learn and consistently represent the company's brand voice.
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to recommend ideas and improvements.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with B2B social media marketing.
• Experience creating and managing social media content calendars.
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn marketing strategies and best practices.
• Experience scheduling content across multiple social media platforms.
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns and business communications.
• Experience providing executive, administrative, or business support in a growing organization.

Work Schedule

• Contracted Hours per Week: 10 Hours
• Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
• Daily Working Time: between 10:00 AM–3:00 PM Pacific Time

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

• Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
• This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
• All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
