We are seeking a creative, proactive, and dependable Marketing & Content Specialist to support the marketing and digital presence of a growing U.S.-based healthcare business specializing in optical, audiology, hearing care, and related vision and hearing solutions .

This role focuses on social media management, content creation, website improvements, digital branding, and marketing coordination. You will help strengthen the organization's online presence by creating engaging content, managing Facebook and other digital channels, producing Reels and short-form content, and supporting updates to its Shopify website.

The ideal candidate is resourceful and comfortable taking ownership of marketing projects. We are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas to the table, recommend useful tools and improvements, and independently turn concepts into polished marketing content.

Candidates with healthcare marketing experience are highly preferred, particularly those who have supported optometry, optical, audiology, hearing care, medical, or other healthcare organizations.

Because the organization's marketing strategy and processes are continuing to evolve, you should be comfortable adapting to changing priorities and helping establish more organized and scalable marketing workflows.

Candidates are highly encouraged to submit a portfolio or examples of previous marketing and content creation work when available. We understand that some candidates may be unable to share certain projects due to confidentiality agreements or NDAs.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

Manage and maintain Facebook and other social media channels Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content Produce periodic Reels, short-form videos, graphics, and other digital content Develop and maintain an organized content calendar Generate creative content ideas aligned with the organization's services and target audience Repurpose existing information into engaging marketing and social media content Assist with basic marketing copy and messaging Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and visual presentation across digital channels

Website & Digital Brand Support

Assist with Shopify website updates and improvements Update website content, images, and marketing information as needed Help improve the presentation, organization, and user experience of the website Maintain consistency between website and social media branding Identify opportunities to strengthen the organization's overall digital presence Recommend tools or applications that could improve website and marketing workflows

Marketing Coordination

Assist with planning and organizing marketing campaigns and initiatives Research relevant healthcare industry trends, competitors, audiences, and content opportunities Recommend marketing ideas, tools, and strategies that can strengthen brand awareness Organize marketing assets, templates, content libraries, and digital files Maintain marketing calendars, spreadsheets, project trackers, and documentation Track marketing tasks, deadlines, and ongoing projects Coordinate with leadership and other team members on marketing priorities Support additional marketing and branding projects as business needs evolve

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or a related role Healthcare marketing experience is highly preferred Hands-on experience managing Facebook and/or other social media platforms Experience creating and scheduling social media content Comfortable creating Reels, short-form videos, graphics, and other digital content Strong understanding of branding and maintaining a consistent digital presence Basic marketing copywriting and content development skills Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Proficiency with Google Workspace , particularly Google Sheets, Docs, and Calendar Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Resourceful and comfortable recommending new tools, processes, and marketing ideas Quick learner who can adapt to evolving priorities Proactive, reliable, accountable, and committed to getting the job done

Experience with every platform is not required. Candidates should, however, be tech-savvy, comfortable learning new tools, and confident recommending better marketing tools or processes when appropriate.

Candidates who cannot share previous work due to an NDA or confidentiality agreement will still be considered.

Basic Requirements

Must speak and write English clearly and professionally. Must have relevant work experience. Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory). Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
