What you'll do

  • Lead content planning, production, and editorial operations for newsletters and nurture sequences across core Suite audiences.
  • Manage calendars, internal and freelance contributors, and workflow efficiency through clear processes and everyday AI tool usage.
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for key initiatives and product launches.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to craft content for awareness, activation, retention, and new sponsorship engagement.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align messaging across organic social and earned channels with lifecycle and brand strategy.
  • Repurpose internal content into thought leadership, case studies, and demand-generation materials for outbound and owned channels.
  • Drive performance for content and prospect nurture across email and web.
  • Test messaging, analyze engagement data, and apply insights to improve opens, conversions, and strategic impact.
  • Partner with marketing team members on flow architecture and analytics.
  • Own sponsor-facing communications alongside member-facing content, adapting tone and approach as appropriate.
  • Manage contractors, freelancers, and internal collaborators to achieve editorial quality and timely delivery.

What they require

  • 5–8 years in content marketing, lifecycle/email marketing, or marketing communications, ideally in membership or community-led organizations where segmentation is critical.
  • Experience working with lawyers on communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and execute a content calendar end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and sign-off.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with a consistent brand voice adaptable to members, sponsors, and prospects.
  • Deep understanding of email/lifecycle marketing tactics: audience segmentation, nurture and re-engagement flows, and measurement.
  • Proven ability to translate business and product strategy into high-performing external-facing content.
  • Power user of marketing automation tools; ideally HubSpot, but other major ESP/CRM platforms welcome.
  • Fluent in analytics and comfortable interpreting open, click, and conversion data and applying learnings to iterate messaging.
  • Everyday proficiency in AI content tools, with sound judgment for when human review is essential.
  • Experience managing a mix of contractors/freelancers and internal contributors.
  • Preferred: People-leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Comfortable as the voice behind both sponsor- and member-facing communications.
