Position Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and commercially minded Marketing & Content Creator to support marketing efforts and create professional, engaging content for the U.S. freight and logistics market.
The successful candidate must be able to combine strong visual design skills with practical marketing knowledge and understand how to effectively market a service rather than a physical product.
The ideal candidate will be able to take a brief or concept and independently turn it into a polished, professional final product without requiring repeated direction or extensive revisions. They must have excellent attention to detail, strong initiative, and the ability to select imagery and create designs that are accurate and relevant to the service being promoted.
LinkedIn is the client's primary marketing platform, and the successful candidate will play an important role in creating content aimed at logistics managers, shipping managers, transportation executives, and other industry professionals.
Responsibilities
Design professional and engaging LinkedIn posts and marketing content for a U.S. business audience. Create high-quality brochures, digital advertisements, promotional materials, and other marketing collateral. Develop visually compelling designs that clearly communicate the freight service being promoted. Select accurate, sharp, professional, and industry-relevant imagery. Ensure designs tell a clear visual story and communicate the message before the viewer reads the supporting text. Produce polished, professional final designs with strong attention to layout, sizing, imagery, branding, and detail. Avoid generic, blurry, irrelevant, or overly AI-generated visuals. Ensure imagery accurately represents the U.S. freight and transportation industry, including appropriate American-style trucks and equipment. Create and support professional email marketing campaigns. Assist with LinkedIn marketing initiatives and content planning. Support Zoho mass-email campaigns or similar CRM/email-marketing campaigns. Create follow-up email campaigns following trade shows and marketing events. Assist with general marketing initiatives beyond graphic design as required. Apply marketing principles to communicate the value and benefits of Freight Express's services to the appropriate target audience.
Requirements
Proven experience in graphic design, content creation, and marketing, with a strong portfolio of professional marketing materials. Experience creating and marketing content for a service-based business is essential. Candidates must understand how to communicate and market a service effectively, rather than focusing only on physical products. Experience working with or creating marketing content for the U.S. market is highly advantageous. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the American market and be able to create content appropriate for a professional U.S. audience. Experience creating professional LinkedIn content, social media graphics, brochures, advertisements, email campaigns, and other B2B marketing materials. Experience in the transportation, freight, logistics, supply chain, or a related industry is highly advantageous. An understanding of the U.S. transportation and logistics industry, including appropriate terminology, vehicles, imagery, and target audiences, would be a strong advantage.
Thinking of applying? Here's the inside scoop.
Let us walk you through the next steps.
Step 1 – Complete Your Application
Fill in our application form and upload your CV. This stores your profile in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and places you into our active job pipelines, making it easier for us to match you with current and future opportunities.
Step 2 – The First Look (One-Way Video Interview)
This is where your application comes to life. We review your CV and video interview to get a feel for your experience, communication style, and overall fit. If we like what we see, you're on to the next step!
Why do we ask for a video?
Because a résumé can tell us what you've done, but it can't show us you . Your video is your moment to shine, and it helps us see:
How you communicate and connect with people. How you present yourself professionally. Other opportunities you might be an even better fit for (bonus surprises!).
Think of it as your personal trailer. One great video means we can pitch you for multiple roles and get you in front of the right employers, faster.
Heads up: Some clients watch your video directly, so make it one you'd be proud to have represent you. This is your highlight reel—make it count!
Step 3 – Let's Actually Talk
A Recruitment Specialist calls to chat about your experience, your availability, what you want to earn, and the role itself. Consider it a friendly vibe check.
Step 4 – The Fine Print, Made Fun
We break down what it's like working as an independent contractor—hours, pay, contract terms, the whole deal. No surprises, no fine-print sneakiness. You'll get it all in writing.
Step 5 – Matchmaking Time
Our Talent Delivery Team plays cupid, matching you to clients where you're most likely to shine. We can't promise everyone gets picked, but we're rooting for you.
Step 6 – Showtime
Got shortlisted? We'll set up your interview, prep you like a pro, and have your back the whole way—with a Reworks teammate right there facilitating.
Step 7 – The Verdict
We chase feedback the second it lands and keep you in the loop.
