What you'll do

  • Own the financial and operational performance of Matter Health’s Georgia market
  • Manage market-level performance across patient engagement, access, scheduling efficiency, staffing stability, capacity, productivity, and execution KPIs
  • Lead the operational execution of integrated care teams composed of licensed clinicians and non-licensed team members
  • Partner with the Market Medical Director through a dyad leadership model to align clinical and operational priorities
  • Maintain clear accountability for operational decisions while respecting the Market Medical Director’s authority over clinical care, quality, and patient safety
  • Provide operational and administrative support to licensed clinical team members, including onboarding coordination, scheduling, leave coordination, workflow support, and non-clinical performance management
  • Lead workforce and capacity planning across the market
  • Ensure day-to-day staffing, scheduling, building access, and operational logistics support reliable care delivery
  • Partner with engagement and care-support teams to improve attributed-member engagement, first-visit completion, and longitudinal patient retention
  • Use operational, clinical, and financial data to identify performance gaps, prioritize opportunities, and develop corrective action plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, community organizations, and local stakeholders
  • Support market launches, operational expansion, and the implementation of new workflows and care-delivery capabilities
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across market teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees across multiple roles and locations
  • Communicate organizational and operational changes clearly, comprehensively, and inclusively
  • Identify barriers to achieving market goals and ensure timely resolution

What they require

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner license
  • At least five years of experience in a director-level healthcare operations position or a role with comparable scope and responsibility
  • Demonstrated experience leading multisite, multi-clinic, or market-level healthcare operations
  • Direct P&L ownership or meaningful responsibility for the financial performance of a healthcare market, service line, or business unit
  • Experience operating within a value-based, risk-based, or payer-aligned healthcare model
  • Understanding of patient attribution, quality measures, payer dynamics, and the operational drivers of value-based performance
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams that include licensed and non-licensed employees
  • Experience managing staffing, scheduling, workforce capacity, productivity, and operational performance
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and performance metrics to identify barriers, establish priorities, and improve results
  • Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across clinical, operational, financial, and administrative functions
  • Ability to lead through rapid growth, organizational change, and ambiguity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and systems used to monitor operational performance
  • Ability to work in a field-based environment and travel approximately 25%–50% throughout the assigned Georgia market
  • Candidates must be located within or able to regularly work throughout the assigned Georgia market
  • Approximately 25%–50% travel within the market will be required based on operational, leadership, community, and care-delivery needs
  • Occasional travel to other Matter Health locations may also be required
  • Preferred: Experience as an Operations Director, Practice Administrator, Market Leader, Market General Manager, or similar healthcare operations leader
  • Preferred: Experience in primary care, Medicare Advantage, home-based care, community-based healthcare, or another value-based care organization
  • Preferred: Experience working in a dyad, matrixed, or shared-accountability leadership model
  • Preferred: Experience launching a new healthcare market, expanding multisite operations, or scaling a care-delivery model
  • Preferred: Project-management experience
  • Preferred: Experience working with property managers, community organizations, payers, or other external stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience supporting healthcare delivery within underserved communities
  • Preferred: Experience leading operations in a rapidly growing or transforming healthcare organization
