GDI Americas is seeking an inquisitive, self-motivated Manager of Operations and Compliance with 5+ years of experience, preferably in a nonprofit/international organization. This role supports finance, accounting, and talent teams, ensuring effective day-to-day operations, subcontracting, and subaward management for GDI and its initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Provides high quality, timely operations and compliance support to GDI and GDI Solutions as well as fractional support to multiple incubated initiatives and/or fiscally-sponsored initiatives.
  • Prepares, files, and maintains registration and compliance documents
  • Develops, refines, disseminates, and trains staff on policies and procedures
  • Donor and grant management, which includes: Review donor agreements on behalf of the initiative, highlighting any areas that require clarification or negotiation.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact with external clients that provide operational support to the GDI network (insurance brokers, legal counsel, banking institutions, etc.)

What they require

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a related position
  • Experience with subcontracting, procurement, and subawards under prime agreements issued by the U.S. government, foreign governments, and/or private foundations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Razor-sharp problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
